Granada

Granada is a city that never ceases to amaze us. The centre and the old neighbourhoods are all explorable by foot. It is a pleasure to stroll through the delightful narrow streets of the idyllic Moorish Albayzin, the Jewish Realejo, the woodlands around the Alhambra and along the river Darro. There are many little squares, babbling fountains, hidden gardens, museums, historic monuments, excellent viewpoints and terraces to enjoy stunning views of the Alhambra and the Sierra Nevada mountains. Granada also has a rich tapas and flamenco culture.

The Alhambra is a monument of an indescribable beauty and therefor well worth a visit. General entrance tickets of the Alcazaba, Nasrid Palaces and Generalife gardens need to be booked in advance. There are also parts that can be visited without a ticket, like the Palace of Charles V that houses the Museo de la Alhambra and Museo de Bellas Artes.
